ReplyDeleteThank you! I was looking for just such a pattern. Casting on today!
ReplyDeleteHi there, just wanting to know why you s1 first then knit? Is that to create a border/ why not just knit them all? (sorry, i'm a beginner and just figuring out why these things are done!)
ReplyDeleteSlipping the first stitch and knitting the last stitch of every row just makes for a nice, clean edge.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this pattern. I have wavy hair naturally and this keeps in under control.
ReplyDeleteA perfect project to whip out on my half-hour bus rides. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it, Mary!
DeleteI would love to make this but I don't know what m1 means. There is also another pattern that says pm and I don't know what that means either.
ReplyDeletem1 = make 1, aka a lifted increase; pick up bar between the st just worked and the next st by inserting left needle under it from front to back, knit into back of this new stitch
Deletepm = place marker
